Amid heightened activity at Popocatépetl, an active volcano situated 45 miles southeast of Mexico City, Mexico is preparing for the possible evacuation of three million individuals.
Popocatépetl is within a 50-mile radius of an estimated 25 million inhabitants, making its activity a significant concern.
Increased volcanic activity around Popocatépetl was observed by seismologists last week, lead to the closure of two major airports over the weekend due to the prevalence of volcanic ash.
In response, officials have elevated the alert level, cautioning residents about potential eruptions and gas discharges, and advising roughly three million individuals to ready themselves for a potential evacuation scenario.

Starting on Tuesday, Netflix initiated notifications to subscribers in the United States and United Kingdom, conveying that free account sharing will only be permissible among individuals residing in the same household.
An option for those outside the household to join a plan for a monthly fee, commencing at $7.99 in the US, was introduced. Those who opt to join will be assigned their own password. According to Netflix's internal data, there are roughly 100 million US households currently sharing passwords.

A recent study published in the journal Nature on Wednesday highlighted the achievement of researchers who successfully reinstated the ability to walk, stand, and climb in a man who had been paralyzed. The man became paralyzed following a motorcycle accident in China in 2011, with a prognosis indicating he may never walk again.
In the experimental procedure, researchers inserted electrodes into his skull, utilizing artificial intelligence to scrutinize the electrical activity in his brain and align it with his intended movements. This data was then relayed to electrodes implanted in his spine, enabling him to manipulate his muscles through brain commands.
Subsequently, the man regained the capacity to walk, stand, and climb. Intriguingly, a year post-procedure, he demonstrated the ability to walk even without the assistance of the electrodes.
