In comparison, the average human speech is approximately 160 words/min. In a parallel study by the University of California, a system was developed for a woman who had a stroke, resulting in a 75% accuracy and a speed of 78 words per minute.
  • Rolls-Royce, the renowned British luxury car brand, has debuted the La Rose Noire Droptail, an exclusive model with a price tag exceeding $30 million. Leading the line-up of four planned Droptails, this vehicle redefines the classic four-seater sedan into a sleek two-seater roadster.

  • Yesterday, SpaceX conducted its 11th human spaceflight mission as part of NASA's Commercial Crew program, launching four astronauts from various space agencies to the ISS for a six-month mission. The Florida launch involved the reusable Crew Dragon capsule, "Endurance," atop a Falcon 9 rocket.
  • The Crew-7 mission signifies SpaceX's sixth operational crew launch for NASA and brings the total number of astronauts transported by SpaceX to 42 since 2020. While at the ISS, the astronauts will conduct scientific research, perform maintenance and upgrades to the station, and engage in outreach activities to share their experiences with the public and inspire the next generation of explorers.

UK Womb Transplant:

  • Medical experts in the United Kingdom have recently marked a significant milestone by executing the nation's first-ever uterus transplant surgery on a female recipient. The womb, a crucial component of the female reproductive system, is the area where an embryo attaches itself and evolves into a fetus. Since 2014, a total exceeding 90 uterus transplants have been carried out globally.
  • On Wednesday, health officials disclosed that the surgery was conducted in February, with the recipient's sister graciously offering her womb for donation. The comprehensive operation, extending beyond 17 hours, was evaluated as successful by the attending medical team, who hold a strong conviction regarding the recipient's heightened probability of achieving pregnancy and, ultimately, childbirth.
