Hezbollah is a militant group and political party in Lebanon, formed in the 1980s with support from Iran. It was created to fight against Israel after their invasion of Lebanon.

The group is part of a network of Iranian-backed groups across the Middle East, known as the "Axis of Resistance," which includes Hamas in Gaza, Islamic Jihad, the Houthis in Yemen, and various Shia militias in Iraq and Syria. Boeing Starliner Astronauts:

On June 5, 2024, NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams launched aboard Boeing's Starliner spacecraft for its first crewed test flight. This mission was pivotal for Boeing, serving as a critical opportunity to demonstrate Starliner's capabilities and cement its role within NASA's Commercial Crew Program. However, just one day after successfully docking with the International Space Station (ISS) on June 6, the mission hit a major roadblock.
Starliner suffered from helium leaks in its propulsion system and failures in its thruster system, making it unsafe to proceed with the planned crewed return to Earth. Throughout June and July 2024, engineers from both NASA and Boeing worked to diagnose and resolve the technical issues. Despite their best efforts, the problems persisted, forcing NASA to consider alternative solutions. By early August, it became clear that Starliner might not be reliable enough to bring the astronauts home safely.
Consequently, NASA began evaluating the option of returning the crew aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule, a spacecraft with a proven track record of successful crewed missions. Starliner's prolonged stay at the ISS occupied a crucial docking port, delaying the arrival of other missions, including SpaceX's Crew-9, which had been scheduled for August 2024. On August 24, NASA announced its decision: astronauts Wilmore and Williams will return to Earth in February 2025 aboard a SpaceX Dragon capsule.
The Starliner spacecraft, now deemed too risky for a crewed descent, is set to return uncrewed in early September 2024 via a controlled autonomous re-entry. This decision marks a significant setback for Boeing, emphasizing the challenges it has faced with the Starliner program and highlighting NASA’s increasing reliance on SpaceX’s capabilities.
