China's Cyberattacks:

On Wednesday, Microsoft made an announcement that they detected cyberattacks from China back in February, which had successfully breached sectors such as communications and manufacturing among others.
Various intelligence agencies from the US and allied nations have attributed these attacks to a Chinese state-funded organization known as "Volt Typhoon." The experts believe that the primary objective of this attack was to steal valuable US data.
The importance of Microsoft's infrastructure in this context is significant as it forms a part of the backbone for numerous industries and services across the US.

Neuralink:

The FDA has recently given Neuralink the green light to commence its first human clinical trials. This development marks a major step forward for the company and the field of neurotechnology. Neuralink is developing implantable brain-machine interfaces.
Initially, Neuralink aims to use its brain-machine interface technology to address and potentially heal various neurological conditions and disabilities. This could involve helping individuals who have lost their ability to move or communicate due to spinal cord injuries, strokes, or conditions like Parkinson's disease.
By implanting "the Link" into the brain, Neuralink hopes to decode the neural signals associated with intended movements or thoughts. These decoded signals could then be used to control external devices, such as prosthetic limbs or communication aids, essentially bypassing the damaged areas of the nervous system.
This could give individuals with paralysis the ability to control devices and communicate using their thoughts alone, significantly improving their quality of life. This vision of creating symbiosis between humans and computers is dependent on the success of these initial clinical trials, continuous technological advancements, and further regulatory approvals.

Formula 1:

The Monaco Grand Prix, one of the most iconic races in the Formula 1 calendar, kicks off today and runs through the weekend, from May 26-28. The Circuit de Monaco, hosting its first Grand Prix in 1950, is renowned for its narrow street layout.
The track features 78 laps and is 3.337 km long. Overall, the racers will cover a total distance of 260.286 km. The lap record is held by Lewis Hamilton with a time of 1:12.909, set in 2021. The final race day is on May 28th.
