Russia vs Ukraine:

Ukrainian forces have started a counteroffensive, according to Russian media and Western sources. This comes after Yevgeny Prigozhin, leader of Russia’s Wagner Group, criticized Russian forces for retreating from areas of the Bakhmut front.
Russian state media claim the spring offensive is underway, contradicting Ukrainian leaders who say it's delayed while they wait for more weapons from the West.
Ukrainian forces reportedly breached Russian defenses around Artyomovsk in Donbass. Ukrainian troops also allegedly used tanks to attack the city of Soledar, previously under Russian control. In the Zaporozhye Region, Ukrainian forces are reported to have attacked Russian positions near Guliay-Pole.
However, these claims have been contradicted by the Russian defense ministry, which downplayed the severity of the fighting. Amid conflicting reports, it remains unclear whether the Ukrainian counteroffensive will succeed or fail.

Ex Pakistan Prime Minister:

Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, has been arrested by paramilitary forces. This follows previous attempts to apprehend him, including a failed assassination attempt in November.
Khan's arrest came after his removal from power on April 10th, 2022, due to a vote of no-confidence in the National Assembly. His opponents claim that his removal from power was due to allegations of corruption and a rapidly declining economy.
Khan's supporters believe that his removal was due to internal government corruption and possible US involvement. They link his ousting to his visit to Russia for a gas deal, which coincided with Russia's Ukraine invasion and his refusal to let the US establish bases in Pakistan.
While direct involvement of the US can’t be proven, the situation in Pakistan, being the 8th most populous country with a nuclear-armed military, requires serious international attention.

Google has introduced a new chat tool for software developers, Codey, aimed at assisting with coding and Google Cloud-related questions. It's integrated with Google's cloud Workstations, Visual Studio Code, Google Shell Editor, and JetBrains' IDEs. Currently, Codey is in its testing phase, only available to a select group of trusted testers.
